“may his soul rest in peace”

By Aubrey Moeketsi

the death of pastor mandla mxumalo has came as a real shock to most of us who knew him, i once attended a crusade where he was preaching and i was inspired by both his level of success (business-wise) and how he disected the word of God that day….

what inspired me most is how he made it from a poor broke rural boy to a succesful business man…the manner in which he died really left me in total shock….

how can a man of God die like a common thieve?

All three of them (him and his two body guards) were attacked by angry workers who hacked them to death….
how can this be? he had two body guards that day…God was there too….who do we blame, how can humans do this? was he a fraud?was he a con-artist who preyed on vulnerable poor unemployed ppl?…was it a set up?…..*only God knows*

whatever the case, he inspired me

May his soul rest in peace!

He told us about his new tender from Orkant. He was looking 4 thousands employees. Ppl went there including my frnd but he never showed up.
He promised to donate R1million to our church, unfortunately we didn’t get it. He was a powerful preacher. May his soul rest in peace..

Only God & him knows d truth. My condolences 2 his family.

People must watch out the crusades he was trusted by all false prophets when they collected peoples money AS A Christian I happened to see him motivating on collection we brought everything our clothes , ,furniture everything you may think of go to Thokoza ekurhuleni township, witbank ttownships they know him he claimed to build hotels called Elezulu hotels, go nelspruit at place called tlau tlau he was there around November
as a forme7 sangoma now recieved christ I just saw a thug not a pastor contact me I will tell you list of this people call themselves pastor’s who feed themslves with poors salaries

aubrey now its high time that people must look for jobs and stop looting people .Our churches today are spinning money industries w here the word of GOD is merchandised, The corruption that is happening on churches where people are forced to buy cars and material things for pastors it is no sense because they want blessings infact Genesis 1:28 clearly tells us that we are blessed
Mathew 24:4; 5; 11; 24 even the called pastors will be deceived , 2 Theselonians 2:9-11 God will give them a long robe to hang themselves .I was a sangoma for 40 yrs on 2006 November I recieved Jesus Christ as the lord and savior in hospital after being nearly killed by other sangoma till date I dont want peoples money I registered with univ of Pretoria to further my studies And im working now got married at 42yrs and have 2 houses which could worth more , preaching the word of God at no cost .IN KATLEHONG , WE HAVE MORE OF FALSE PROPHETS

  4. @Wiseman im inspired by what God is going in your life and where he took u from, and as for pastor Mandla Nxumalo, i was really really shocked to hear, not only about his gruesome death, but the scandals which i heared after his passing. I only “met” him once in a crusade held in orange farm, thats where i 1st heard him speak,

Ofcoz he was talking abt ppl giving to the work of the lord, i dnt wanna lie, i was inspired by his success (which we wer told about before he took to the stage, plus i also googled him and found both good and bad things about him, plus his hotels which he owned), and he himself sharing a bit more about how he rose from poverty to here he was.

Im still left in shock……but i agree with u to an extend….wer really need to wake up as a church

  5. pumla says:

Pastor Nxumalo promised to build the Elezulu Hotels int which we paid R50 000 cash. We were promised 10% returns on monthly basis. Not a cent!! We called him and took him to the Finncial services board but all in vain. His soul cannot rest in peace. He leaves behind shattered people, families ec who sacrificided their hard won earnings to invest in his scheme- what a fraud.!!

    • Pumla, im so sorry to hear about your major financial loss my sister…..
As i have stated earlier, i never really knew the man either personally or otherwise……i only cought him once in a crusade held in orange farm……

Im left spell-bound as i read through all the comments abt his financial mismanagements…..really its sad…….

      God bless my sister

    • Vics says:

      @ Pumla
I also invested thousands of rands in the same Elezulu Hotels campaign, and expected a return of 10% every month. I called Mr. Nxumalo many times until he could not answer my calls anymore. I wonder why Financial Services Board is not punishing this organisation, who misleaded public through website that they are the authorised financial services provider.

  6. Mabuya.com says:

Honestly it’s only God who will judge him. Me i know a good side of Him and he helped many people in my community, and was also knocked by his business partners who took advantage that he was a pastor. The way he died was uncalled for as he lives for small kids who were asking about their dad. I even attended his funeral damn it was sad.

  7. Francina says:

Pastor Nxumalo deserve what he got, he was just a fraudulent who rip off people their R50,000 and promised them shares from Elezulu Hotels after that he hides. God loves us all, that’s all our tears and I won’t forgive him for that.

  8. Francina says:

May his soul burn to hell

  9. Kutlwano says:

Pastors are under attack we need to pray for them

  10. Francina says:

Sad for his children, he didn’t deserve to like that. But think about those who are still living to suffer being robbed by Nxumalo their children’ money, we are talking about lump some. Our children won’t be able to go to school only because of a fake paster who robbed our monies in the name of God. We trusted him and took all our investment hoping to get shares at Elezulu hotels, now the wife and kids richer without working for anything. I’m sorry but I need my children’ money, they deserve to go to school as well.

  11. Khanyisile Ngwenya says:

I must truly say that I couldn’t agree with you more. I have the very questions you pose on this blog. How can a man of God die like a common thief?

Whatever the answer is, he inspired irregardless

    • Sis i had the burning desire to meet him one day , the man really inspired me holistically,
      Sad that he is nomore……

This has taught me a valuable lesson in terms of understanding ones office and effectively handling the gift God trusted u with, while others were anointed with signs and wonders, the man clearly was anointed with the power to aquire wealth,

Just like those who have the anointing to heal are selling their God-given gift to make money for themselves, it would seem that pastor Mandla Nxumalo too understood his gift and just like most men of God he leveraged his influence to allegedly do wrong…..

but the positive seed he sowed in my life will forever remain with me……..

Wow thats interesting to hear that Mandla died, unfortunately he had to pay the price for robbing us, i paid R50 000 as well for the Elezulu shares of which i got nothing in return. God is not the God of thieves who are using his name in vain. i knew that day will come

    • Francina Mthombeni says:

      AMEN TO THAT!!!

    • That’s too harsh…..the man is gone…..let it rest……..
